The following sound bites are presented for the purpose of providing clients with a few samples of the many pipe tunes included in Mitchell McDowell's repertoire. Fellow pipers may be interested to know that all of these selections were performed by Mitchell on a 100% polypenco bagpipe, made by Dunbar Bagpipes in St.Catharines, Ontario.
The chanter pitch used on these tracks ranges from 474 hz to 476 hz, in an attempt to emulate the older, warmer tone prevalent in piping circles throughout the late 1970's and '80's. This is a matter of personal preference only, as the Dunbar pipe chanter is capable of providing a much higher pitch, if so desired.

(NOTE: On tracks 3, 4, 7, 10 & 14 the listener may detect an occasional “pop” or “crack” sound. These are electronic anomalies that occurred during some of the digital recording sessions, and are not indicative of a problem with the listener's computer or its speakers)
